Using Spices
Adding spices to your next culinary masterpiece can add a boost of flavor without the use of butter or salt. Choosing the spices that are right for you depends on the type of cooking you enjoy. One thing is for sure, using fresh spices from our collections will be a welcome addition to whatever you prepare.
Freshly Grind
Grind your own fresh spices right before you prepare any dish will give you the highest flavors possible as well as need to use less spice. Freshly grinding releases the oils in the store in the spices and packs a flavor punch and make your dish standout.
Toasting For Flavor
Just little bit toasting of fresh spices enhances authentic flavors by many fold. Heat a dry small pan over medium heat and add in whole Indian spices like Coriander, Cumin, and Saunf. Toast by swirling the pan and only cook just until they start to become fragrant. Whole spices burn very easily, so keep a close watch. Once toasted they can be ground or used whole in any Indian cuisines, Soups or however you want.
Storage
Storing spices in a cool & warm space is essential for keeping them fresh as much as possible. Storing them just above your cooking area is not recommended. If you have purchase spices in large quantity than try to keep it in a freezer or refrigerate to avoid losing of flavor & essence. Fresh and Pure Spices usually maintain their flavor for around 9 months to 12 months, so replace anything that’s older than a year.
